•California’s Agave Underground Tequila has inked an exclusive distribution agreement with Wirtz Beverage to enter the state of Minnesota. The brand also has a presence in Arizona through Phoenix-based Hensley & Co. and Colorado with Republic National Distributing Co., as well as select availability in the on-premise in California. Agave Underground offers three different 100% Blue Agave Tequila products—Silver, Reposado and Añejo.
•Fort Collins, Colorado-based Odell Brewing has unveiled the year’s fifth entry in its Single Serve experimental brewing series, The Meddler. Inspired by a traditional beer style from the Flemish region of Belgium, The Meddler is an “Oud Bruin Ale” that is barrel aged for more than 18 months. The limited edition, 8.9%-abv offering is packaged in cork- and cage-finished 750-ml. bottles and will be available throughout Odell’s 10-state distribution network, priced at around $15-$16 a bottle. In addition to its Single Serve lineup, Odell Brewing also produces a year-round range—which includes its Easy Street Wheat, Levity Amber Ale and 5 Barrel Pale Ale labels, among others—and a variety of seasonals and specialty offerings.Tagged : craft beer, craft spirits
