•Stevens Point, Wisconsin-based Ciderboys Cider Co. has entered the fast-growing U.S. hard cider market with the release of a number of new products. The company has debuted two year-round hard ciders—First Press traditional hard cider and Magic Apple apple strawberry hard cider—and two seasonals—Cranberry Road apple cranberry hard cider for the fall and Mad Bark apple cinnamon hard cider for the winter. The gluten-free ciders are available beginning this week in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft across the state of Wisconsin, with other markets to follow shortly. In 2012, U.S. cider sales jumped by 23% to 5.7 million (2.25-gallon) cases, according to Impact Databank.

•Redlands, California-based Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has reintroduced Hangar 24 Warmer Ale as part of its Local Fields Series. First launched in 2009, Warmer Ale is a 7.8%-abv brew infused with holiday flavors such as cinnamon, maple syrup, caramel malts and fresh spruce sourced from the San Bernardino Mountains. This year, Warmer Ale will be available on- and off-premise in California starting November 23. Established earlier this year, the Local Fields Series includes seasonal offerings produced once a year—on draft and in 22-ounce bottles—that are made with a different local ingredient, including red wine grapes, dates, blood oranges, apricots and pumpkins.
