Chinese Industrialist Acquires Bordeaux’s Chateau Bellefont-Belcier

A Chinese industrialist has acquired Chateau Bellefont-Belcier, a leading wine estate in the St.-Emilion region of Bordeaux. While Chinese investors have purchased several other Bordeaux properties in recent years, Chateau Bellefont-Belcier is the first Grand Cru Classe property acquired by a buyer from China, which has become the biggest export market for Bordeaux wines.
