Whisky Advocate Names American Whiskey Of The Year

Earlier today, Whisky Advocate named Four Roses 2012 Limited Edition Small Batch as its American Whiskey of the Year. The 55.7%-abv Bourbon retails for $90 a bottle. Yesterday, the magazine revealed Corsair Triple Smoke (40% abv, $45) as its Artisan Whiskey of the Year. The individual winners from the 19th annual installment of the Whisky Advocate Awards are being unveiled one day at a time at WhiskyAdvocateBlog.com, and will also be featured in the magazine’s upcoming Spring edition, due out March 1.
