•Hood River, Oregon-based Full Sail Brewing Co. has unveiled the 2013 vintage of its limited edition Bourbon barrel aged offering. Launching next month, Full Sail Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was originally brewed in December 2011, then aged in three Kentucky Bourbon barrel varieties—sourced from the Maker’s Mark, Four Roses and Jim Beam distilleries—and blended. The 9.6%-abv entry will be available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft. Founded in 1987, Full Sail Brewing distributes its two year-round brews, three rotating series and two specialty lineups across 29 states.
•San Diego’s Green Flash Brewing Co. has announced the launch of Hop Odyssey, a new series of six hop-centric beers available only on draft. The range makes its official debut next month, with the release of an American-style Black IPA (7.2% abv), which features Warrior, Citra and Cascade hops. A new Hop Odyssey entry will follow every other month for the rest of the year, including the launch of Imperial Red Rye IPA in April, Citra Session IPA in June, Cedar Plank Pale Ale in August, Symposium IPA in October and Double Columbus IPA in December. All six brews will be available at taprooms, bars and restaurants throughout Green Flash’s 37-state footprint.
