•MillerCoors has reported a net sales rise of 2.8%, to $7.8 billion, for the 12 months through December, along with a 9.5% increase in net income, to $1.2 billion. Progress was mainly driven by Coors Light, which continued to outpace the premium light segment with a single-digit rise, marking its eighth consecutive year of growth. Additionally, MillerCoors’ craft and import unit Tenth and Blake demonstrated double-digit gains, due to strong sales of Blue Moon and Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy and Snowdrift Vanilla Porter labels in particular. For the fourth quarter, however, MillerCoors’ net sales eked out a 1.7% gain, to $1.8 billion, while net income was down 4.2%, to $185.8 million, due in part to softness from the company’s Miller64 and Miller Genuine Draft brands.
