Domaine Anne Gros Joins Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines

March 13, 2013

Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines has added Domaine Anne Gros to its roster of Burgundy producers. The highly regarded 16-acre estate includes vineyards in three prestigious grands crus—Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot and Echézeaux—along with parcels in Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée. With her husband Jean-Paul Tollot (of the Tollot-Beaut family), Gros also makes wines at Domaine Anne Gros-Jean-Paul Tollot, a 35-acre property in Minervois, from Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. The wines from both properties will be available in 33 states, beginning with the 2011 vintage. Meanwhile, one of C&E’s long-term Burgundy producers, Marquis d’Angerville, has left the portfolio.
