•Phillips Distilling has added two flavor extensions to its UV vodka line: Salty Watermelon and Peach. Available nationwide, the new expressions come in all bottle sizes, priced at $12.99 a 750-ml. Salty Watermelon and Peach bring UV’s vodka portfolio to 19 flavors, including Candy Bar, Chocolate Cake, Whipped, Blue and Vanilla, among others. An Impact “Hot Brand,” UV’s volume has nearly doubled since 2009, reaching 1.6 million cases on 34% growth last year, according to Impact Databank. The company also unveiled a new marketing campaign behind the brand, entitled “be UV,” early last month.

•Gosling’s rum passed the 100,000-case-mark in the U.S. market last year, according to owner Castle Brands. The company attributed the brand’s growth to the increasing popularity of Gosling’s Black Seal, as well as the Dark ’n Stormy cocktail featuring Black Seal and its Stormy ginger beer and the subsequent launch of brand’s RTD version in 8.4-ounce cans last year. Bermuda-produced Gosling’s offers three rum variants—its flagship Gosling’s Bermuda Black Seal rum, Gosling’s Gold Bermuda rum and Family Reserve Old rum.
