•Missouri’s O’Fallon Brewery has introduced its new Brewer’s Stash series of beers. The first release is Sticke It To The Man, which will be available May through August. The brew is a Sticke Alt beer, which is a darker, hoppier version of the Dusseldorf Alt style. Sticke It To The Man (7.5% abv) is brewed with five different types of malts and classic German hops. The Brewer’s Stash series will feature a rotating selection of specialty beers made available in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles at grocery and retail stores across 14 states. In other company news, O’Fallon is rolling out its core 5-Day IPA and Wheach beers in six packs of 12-ounce cans beginning this month.
•Paso Robles, California-based Firestone Walker Brewing Co. has added a new pilsner—Pivo Hoppy Pils—to its craft portfolio. Billed as a classic pilsner with a “West Coast dry-hopping twist,” Pivo is a new take on the traditional American style, made with German ingredients and influenced by Italian and Czech brewing methods. The new 5.3%-abv expression will be available in six-packs and on draft in select markets this week, priced at around $9.99 a six-pack. Pivo joins Firestone’s existing range, which includes its core DBA (Double Barrel Ale), Pale 31 and Union Jack labels, as well as a selection of seasonals, specialties and limited edition offerings.
