Marnier Lapostolle Details Trio Of Upcoming Launches

May 23, 2013

Marnier Lapostolle has unveiled details on three new Grand Marnier extensions slated to launch this year. The first—GM Titanium—will debut in August and initially be available across the Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago and South Florida markets. Featuring a blend of orange and calamansi citrus flavors with spices and Cognac, the high-end offering retails at $44.99 a 750-ml. In September, Marnier-Lapostolle will roll out Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, a limited-edition flavored expression that will be available nationwide, priced at $39.99. Also in the fall, the company plans to release Grand Marnier Cuvée 1880, which is billed as a blend of aged, premium XO Cognac sourced from the Grande Champagne region. The luxury entry is priced at $299.99, joining Cuvée du Centenaire and Quintessence in Grand Marnier’s higher-marque portfolio.

Grand Marnier was up 1% in the U.S. last year, to roughly 485,000 nine-liter cases, according to Impact Databank. The brand is marketed by Moët Hennessy USA, which renewed its long-term partnership with Marnier Lapostolle earlier this year. (Lapostolle Wines moved from MH USA to Terlato last year.)
