•Smoke Ventures has launched Smoke Liqueur, a new RTD cocktail-inspired offering made with vodka, Moscato and pineapple and coconut flavors. The 26%-abv entry, which is priced at $29.99 a 750-ml., is packaged in a frosted Champagne-style bottle and targeted toward the luxury on-premise. Smoke initially launched earlier this year in New York (where it’s distributed by Southern Wine & Spirits), and will rollout across the the tri-state area this month, both on- and off-premise. Expansion into additional states is slated for the fall. Smoke Ventures will support the launch with a national multimedia campaign, featuring celebrity tie-ups, social media efforts, brand collaborations, events, on- and off- premise activations and more.

Pernod Ricard USA has promoted Jim Green to the position of vice president, commercial and channel strategy in a move designed to strengthen its routes to market. In the new role, Green will manage the development of the company’s next generation distributor model, sales structure and overall route to market approach for both spirits and wine, as well as lead the commercial integration of new partnerships and acquisitions. He will report to Stephen O’Neill, Pernod’s senior vice president, communications and transformation. Green has been with the company since 2011, and previously served as vice president, national customer solutions and activation. Prior to that, he held positions at Diageo, Marriott and Kodak.
