•Kansas City, Missouri-based Boulevard Brewing Co. has added a new IPA to its year-round portfolio. Billed as a drinkable “session beer” with low bitterness and a relatively low abv, Pop-Up IPA will be available in 12-ounce bottles and 1/6 and 1/2 barrels starting next month. The 4.2%-abv offering joins Boulevard’s Single-Wide IPA and Double-Wide IPA in the brewer’s existing, eight-label year-round lineup. Additional session beer recipes, meanwhile, are currently in the works. Boulevard, which also produces five seasonal labels and an array of specialties under its Smokestack Series, has a distribution footprint of around 20 states.
