•Atlanta-based SweetWater Brewing is bringing back Motor Boat ale to its Catch and Release series this fall. Billed as SweetWater’s version of an Extra Special Bitter (ESB), the brew (5.6% abv) is available from mid-August through October on draft and in six-packs, as well as in SweetWater’s Tackle Box variety 12-packs, throughout the Southeast. In addition to the Saaz and Sterling hops that were previously used in the recipe, the brewer added new hop varieties in this year’s edition in the whirlpool and dry hop stage, including Columbus, Amarillo and Styrian Golding. Motor Boat joins Happy Ending, Road Trip, Festive Ale and Waterkeeper Hefeweizen in the Catch and Release series.

The new edition, which marks the fourth seasonal entry in the Mix’r series, will feature an assortment of three brands, including the brewer’s year-round Wyld Extra Pale Ale and Baba Black Lager labels, as well as organic fall seasonal Punk’n Pumpkin Ale. Rolling out this month and available for a limited time, the fall Organic Line Mix’r joins Uinta’s existing seasonal Mix’r packs, which feature Hyve Organic Honey Ale in the spring, Sum’r Organic Summer Ale in summer and Hazel Organic Amber Wheat in winter. Established in 1993, Uinta Brewing produces a core lineup of nearly a dozen classic brews and has a footprint of 25 states.
