Amazon Expands Its Wine Retailing Reach To 20 States

October 18, 2013

Amazon Wine has started shipping to four new states—New York, Michigan, Arizona and Louisiana—bringing its total reach to 20 states and Washington, D.C. Additionally, the retailer has expanded its offerings to include more than 1,000 new international wines, and has also introduced limited production entries and deals on mixed packs ahead of the holiday season. Launched late last year, Amazon Wine features more than 5,000 wine labels from over 700 producers. The marketplace, which offers direct shipping from the wineries themselves, will currently ship up to six bottles for $9.99.
