EXCLUSIVE: Terlato Adds Luxury Don Pancho Origenes Rum To Expanding Spirits Lineup

November 11, 2013

Terlato Wines has added Panama’s Don Pancho Origenes rum to its burgeoning Artisan Spirits porftolio. Starting in early 2014, Terlato will be rolling out Don Pancho’s 30-year-old ($425 a 750-ml.) and 18-year old editions ($90) in select markets around the U.S. The importer will be adding an 8-year-old offering in the near future.

While legendary distiller Francisco “Don Pancho” Fernandez has long produced luxury rums at Panama’s Las Cabras Distillery for other clients, he only began releasing rums under the Don Pancho name in the past year.

Terlato’s Artisan Spirits portfolio currently includes such brands as Langley’s No. 8 Distilled London Gin, Tigre Blanc Vodka and Marnier Cognac. The company is in the process of adding a collection of single malt Scotches and a 100% blue agave Tequila entry.
