Oskar Blues Posting 40% Growth For 2013 As Expansion Rolls To More Than 30 States

November 12, 2013

Colorado-based craft brewer Oskar Blues says it’s tracking 40% growth in 2013, with its expanded East Coast presence helping to drive the increase. In October, Oskar Blues hit 100,000 barrels year-to-date, with 40,000 barrels coming from its new North Carolina brewery for distribution to 16 East Coast states. More than 9.2 million cans have been produced at the North Carolina site over the past 10 months. The new facility is being augmented with the addition of five new 200 barrel tanks this month, making a total of 27 at the site. Oskar Blues is now sold in more than 30 states, with plans to expand to several new states in 2014.
