•Edrington Group’s Cutty Sark brand is planning to release Cutty Sark Tam o’Shanter, a new, limited edition Scotch whisky. Made from a blend of 25-year-old stocks, the luxury offering is packaged in an oak gift box, alongside a book of illustrations by the Scottish painter Alexander Goudie. Just 5,000 bottles of Tam o’Shanter are being produced, priced at around $300 a bottle. Cutty Sark, which does around 129,000 cases in the U.S. market, is joined in the Edrington portfolio by the Famous Grouse, The Macallan and Highland Park whiskies and Brugal rum. Currently handled by Rémy Cointreau in the U.S., the portfolio will move to Edrington’s newly formed U.S. unit, Edrington USA, next April.

•Napa’s Delicato Family Vineyards has tapped Chris Zehner to lead the sales team of its newly formed Sam Jasper wine portfolio, which includes brands such as First Press, Fog Head, Frusion Wine Company, Sonoma Hills and La Merika. Zehner, who joined Delicato in 2004, will serve as vice president for the Sam Jasper unit. Matt Jackson, a 12-year Delicato veteran, will serve as western division manager. Prior to taking on their new roles, Zehner had led Delicato’s national accounts team both on- and off-premise, and Jackson had been region sales manager for Northern California and Hawaii.
