Campari America Brings Aperol In-House

Campari America has taken over the distribution and marketing of Gruppo Campari’s Aperol aperitif brand in the U.S., effective earlier this fall. According to Campari America managing director Roy Danis, the company is planning to expand Aperol’s presence in the U.S. through the promotion of its signature Aperol Spritz cocktail.

The brand, which is now Gruppo Campari’s biggest by sales value, moves around 2.6 million cases globally, according to Impact Databank. Prior to the change, Aperol had been handled stateside by Palm Bay International since 2008.
