Whisky Advocate To Unveil Award Winners Starting TomorrowDecember 10, 2013
Whisky Advocate is set to name the winners of The 20th Annual Whisky Advocate Awards on the Whisky Advocate blog, starting Wednesday, December 11. Traditionally announced exclusively in the publication’s spring 2014 issue, the award winners are selected from Whisky Advocate’s Buying Guide categories as the best, most interesting or most significant whiskies of the year.
A different winner will be announced on the blog each day, kicking off December 11 with Whisky Advocate’s Craft Whiskey of the Year award, followed by the year’s American Whiskey (December 12), Canadian Whiskey (December 13), Irish Whiskey (December 14), Japanese Whisky (December 15), World Whisky (December 16), Blended/Blended Malt Whisky (December 17), Speyside Single Malt (December 18), Islay Single Malt (December 19), Highland Single Malt (December 20), Lowlands/Campbeltown Single Malt (December 21), Lifetime Achievement (December 22) and Distiller of the Year (December 23) award winners. Following their unveiling on the blog, the winners will be posted on Whisky Advocate’s Facebook and Twitter pages, with the lineup also set to appear in Whisky Advocate’s spring 2014 issue in full.Tagged : spirits, whiskey, whisky, Whisky Advocate
