•Oklahoma City-based Mustang Brewing Co. is launching a trio of new brews this spring. Under the limited release Unbridled series, Mustang will launch Rocket Fuel, a 9%-abv Imperial Pale Ale, as well as Hoplahoma, a 7.5%-abv red IPA. Also joining the portfolio is Farmhouse DoppelHopper, an updated, Belgian-inspired version of Mustang’s original DoppelHopper IPA label. All three offerings will initially debut in keg format, with Rocket Fuel and Farmhouse DoppelHopper set to roll out in March, followed by Hoplahoma in May. Four-packs of 12-ounce bottles are slated to follow soon after. Concurrently, Mustang Brewing is set to enter the north Texas market via a new partnership with Miller Denton this March, bringing its footprint—which also includes Oklahoma and Arkansas—to a total of three states.

•Portland, Oregon’s BridgePort Brewing Company has released a new Hop Czar IPA series to its lineup, which will feature three hop-forward beers released throughout the year. One of the state’s original craft breweries, BridgePort first released Hop Czar Imperial IPA in 2008 as a limited edition offering and later it became the group’s co-flagship beer. The first beer in the new series, Citra Dry-Hopped IPA, will showcase the intense flavor of the Citra hop varietal combined with English malts. At 6.5% abv, the release has a slightly lower alcohol content than the original Hop Czar. Other Bridgeport offerings include its namesake IPA and Kingpin double red ale.

•Eugene, Oregon’s Ninkasi Brewing Company is bringing back its five-beer Seasonal Release Series starting with Spring Reign, a Northwest American Pale Ale brewed with Northwest hops and regionally sourced malt. First launched in 2009, the 6.0%-abv offering is available in on draft and shelves through May in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, California, Alaska and Vancouver. Ninkasi’s Seasonal Release Series introduces new styles for a limited time throughout the year.
