•Chimacum, Washington’s Finnriver Cidery has partnered with Wirtz Beverage to distribute its hard cider to the Chicago metro market and statewide in Nevada, beginning this month. Using whole organic apples grown in Washington state, Finnriver offers Contemporary, Traditional and Seasonal ciders, as well as a variety of fruit wine. In Illinois, Wirtz Beverage will distribute five bottled ciders—including four Contemporary selections (Black Currant Cider, Pear Cider, Dry Hopped Cider and Habanero Cider) and one Seasonal (Honey Meadow). In Nevada, on offer will be those brands as well as two Traditional offerings, Artisan Sparkling Cider and Farmstead Cider. Draft selections will follow in both markets this fall.
