•Fort Collins, Colorado-based New Belgium Brewing Co. has appointed Christine Perich as president, effective immediately. Perich, who joined New Belgium in 2004, most recently served as the craft brewer’s chief financial officer and chief operations officer. In her new role, Perich will oversee New Belgium’s day-to-day operations, as well as manage the construction and integration of the group’s second production facility in Asheville, North Carolina, slated to open in late 2015. She will report directly to New Belgium CEO and co-founder Kim Jordan. Meanwhile, director of finance and accounting Danielle McLarnon is set to succeed Perich as chief financial officer.

•The Brewers Association has promoted longtime vice president and COO Bob Pease to CEO. The transition to CEO formalizes much of the responsibility that Pease has already progressively adopted, the trade group said, including personnel administration, government affairs, export development and oversight of all financial, operational and functional areas. Charlie Papazian remains president of the organization “with continued focus on Brewers Association stewardship, beer community relations and serving as an ambassador within the brewing community,” the group added.
