•Florida-based craft distiller Cape Spirits Inc. is introducing a new line of spirits under the label Wicked Dolphin’s RumShine. Made with Florida sugar cane, RumShine comes in three flavors—Apple Pie (70 proof), Strawberry (100 proof) and Blueberry (100 proof)—and is available now for about $19.99 through RNDC in its home state, with a national rollout planned for January 2015. Cape Spirits also makes Wicked Dolphin rum, which it extended earlier this year with a spiced offering ($25.99).
•Scottish craft brewer Innis & Gunn has released a pair of specialty labels into the U.S. ahead of the holiday season. Originally created in 2013, Innis & Gunn’s Bourbon Stout has been re-introduced as a limited edition offering available exclusively in the U.S. market. The 7.4%-abv label is billed as a red stout matured over Bourbon-infused oak, and is currently available in select markets priced at $8.99 a 660-ml. Concurrently, Innis & Gunn has re-released returning seasonal Scottish Porter. A 7.4%-abv red ale featuring notes of orange, chocolate and smoke, Scottish Porter is available in select markets retailing for $9.99 a four-pack. Along with Bourbon Stout and Scottish Porter, Innis & Gunn also offers its core Original, Rum Aged and Toasted Oak IPA entries in the U.S.
•Escondido, California’s Stone Brewing Co. has launched Hibiscusicity, the latest expression in the brewer’s experimental Stochasticity Project series. Billed as a Belgian-style strong ale, Hibiscusicity is made with Magnum and Sterling hops and infused with hibiscus flowers and orange peel. The 7.4%-abv limited edition offering, which can be consumed now or cellared for up to several years, is currently available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft across 40 U.S. markets.
