Don Sebastiani & Sons To Launch “Craft Winemaking” Unit, New House Vintners

December 3, 2014

Don Sebastiani & Sons is set to add a new division devoted to small-lot, appellation-driven wines called New House Vintners. The unit will be vertically integrated from winemaking through marketing, sales and distribution. It will include current releases such as Don & Sons Sonoma Signature Series Pinot Noir, Il Donato (Italy), Gunsight Rock (Paso Robles), Simple Life (Clarksburg) and Americano (California), along with 2014 launches Delish Sauvignon Blanc, Queens Peak Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon and Custard Sonoma Valley Chardonnay, which will debut early next year. Also joining the portfolio will be Clarksburg-sourced The Crusher, an Impact “Hot Prospect” that rose 19% to 51,000 cases last year. Headquartered in Sonoma, Don Sebastiani & Sons operates a winery in Napa Valley.
