•Fort Collins, Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing has signed on with 12 distributors in Pennsylvania for statewide distribution expected this August. Ace Beer Distributors, Allentown Beverage, City Beverage, Durdach Brothers, Erie Beer Company, Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale Company, Gretz Beer Company, LT Verrastro Inc., Penn Distributors, Von’s United Beverage, W&L Sales and W.R. Hickey Beer Distributors will carry New Belgium’s craft beer portfolio in Pennsylvania, which marks the 39th state in its distribution footprint. The employee-owned New Belgium offers 10 year-round Belgian-style beers such as Fat Tire Amber Ale, Ranger IPA, Rampant Imperial IPA and Shift Pale Lager, among others. Ranger IPA earned Impact “Hot Brand” honors for its 2014 performance, in which it rose 20%.

•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing Company is releasing an updated version of its Stone Ruination IPA made with a different formula 13 years after the original’s debut. Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0 (8.5% abv) is brewed with six hop varieties—including new additions such as Citra, Simcoe and Azacca hops—and modern brewing techniques such as hop bursting, in which additional hops are added later in brewing for aroma and flavor. The result is a flavor profile of citrus, melon and tropical fruits, the company says. Ruination 2.0 is available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft throughout Stone’s 42-state distribution network.

•Downingtown, Pennsylvania-based Victory Brewing Co. has officially opened its second brewpub—Victory at Magnolia—in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Featuring a seven-barrel brewery, Victory at Magnolia offers a rotating selection of beer on draft, as well as a 220-seat dining area and a retail store. The outpost marks Victory’s third brewing facility, joining its Downingtown headquarters and its recently-completed Parkesburg, Pennsylvania brewery. Established in 1996, Victory Brewing’s portfolio—which includes year-round HopDevil IPA, Headwaters Pale Ale, Golden Monkey and Prima Pils entries, among others—is currently available across 35 states.
