•Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewing Company is releasing a new fall seasonal, Hash Brown. The brown ale (6.2%-abv) is brewed with 2-row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown and Midnight Wheat with concentrated hop resin, or hash. It’s the second time SweetWater has brewed with such a method, following the year-round launch of Hop Hash double IPA late last year. Hash Brown is available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles, in cans in the brewer’s TackleBox variety 12-pack and on draft throughout the fall.

•Juneau-based Alaskan Brewing Company is rolling out its new Alaskan Pumpkin Ale, a fall seasonal billed as a spin on its previous Pumpkin Porter offering. The brown ale-based recipe is a blend of organic pumpkins and spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and brown sugar with alder-smoked malt, Vienna malt and Goldings hops. Alaskan Pumpkin Ale is available through November throughout the company’s 17-state distribution footprint.

•Oregon’s Rogue Ales has partnered with sports radio personality Colin Cowherd on a new English Special Bitter (ESB) called Blunt n’ Bitter. The new brew will officially be introduced on August 28 in Portland, where Cowherd worked on both TV and radio in the 1990s. Hitting select retailers in 22-ounce bombers, Blunt n’ Bitter will be the official beverage of the broadcaster’s Colin Cowherd and the Herd, which is moving from ESPN to Fox Sports in September.
