Total Wine & More Partners With Instacart On Delivery Service

November 20, 2015

Total Wine & More has kicked off a new partnership with delivery provider Instacart that will see the retailer offer beverage alcohol delivery in multiple markets, beginning with Miami.“We decided to launch with Instacart in our new Miami Beach store, knowing that delivery would need to be part of the experience in this very urban environment. The voice of the customer reaffirmed that on day one when we opened in early October,” said John Jordan, Total Wine’s senior vice president of customer experience.

Instacart, which is present in 18 U.S. metropolitan markets, charges $3.99 for two-hour delivery and $5.99 for one-hour delivery, and offers a yearly membership for $99 that eliminates fees on all orders of $35 or more (the minimum order size is $10). The Total Wine-Instacart partnership is expected to expand to more markets in the coming months.
