•San Francisco-based Almanac Beer Co. is set to enter Wisconsin via a new distribution deal with Breakthru Beverage. Starting this month, Almanac’s Farmers Reserve series will begin rolling out across the state in bottles and on draft, alongside the brewer’s Farm-to-Barrel Dog Patch Sour and Saison de Brettaville labels. A rotating selection of Almanac’s small-batch releases will also be available. Established in 2010, Almanac Beer is best known for its oak barrel-aged ales, which are produced using fruit sourced from local Northern California farms.

•Boston’s Harpoon Brewery has launched Thunder Foam, the latest expression in its limited edition 100 Barrel Series. The winning recipe from Harpoon’s 2015 Kettle Cup employee brewing competition, Thunder Foam is a 6.8%-abv porter brewed with chili peppers and cocoa nibs. The new entry is currently available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft and marks the 56th installment in Harpoon’s 100 Barrel Series, which showcases a different employee recipe every few months.
