•San Francisco Bay Area retailer Beltramo’s Wine and Spirits is closing after 134 years of business. Founded in 1882 by Giovanni Beltramo, the family-owned store will end operations at its Menlo Park location by the end of summer, as current owners John and Daniel Beltramo are retiring. The company told the San Jose Mercury News that it has identified a buyer for the site at 1540 El Camino Real that will likely not be another wine retailer. Beltramo’s features thousands of bottles of wines and spirits, and hundreds of beer offerings.
