•With sales expected to more than double this year, Cape Coral, Florida’s Wicked Dolphin Distillery is in expansion mode. Wicked Dolphin is upgrading its current tanks and bottling line, and recently purchased property south of its existing distillery to house an expansion project set to break ground in 2017. Meanwhile, Wicked Dolphin is rolling out its Crystal, Coconut, Gold and Black rums in 1-liter and 1.75-liter bottles, with its Reserve line of barrel-aged spirits continuing to be sold in 750-ml. format. The company is projecting full-year sales growth of about 120% for 2016, led by chain stores such as Publix, Winn Dixie, Total Wine & More and ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. Wicked Dolphin is handled by Republic National Distributing Company in Florida, Maryland, Georgia, Washington D.C. and South Carolina.

•Texas-based Independence Brewing is introducing Liberty Lunch IPA, a new seasonal brew honoring the famed Austin music venue of the same name. A 5.5% abv beer brewed and dry-hopped with Citra, Lemondrop, and Mosaic hops, Liberty Lunch IPA is being distributed throughout the summer on draft and in six-packs of cans in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth.
