•St. Paul, Minnesota-based Summit Brewing Company is releasing Zingiber Cream Ale as part of its Unchained Series. The limited release is billed as an ale-lager hybrid featuring organic Hawaiian ginger with Sterling and Mt. Hood hops. Zingiber Cream Ale (5.3% abv) is available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans. Summit Brewing’s lineup—which includes seven year-round beers, four seasonals, the Unchained Series and 30th Anniversary Series—is currently available in 14 states.

•Ninkasi Brewing Company, based in Eugene, Oregon, is set to debut N10 Imperial Blended Ale, a limited-edition offering, next month. Created as part of Ninkasi’s 10th anniversary celebration, N10 is a 10% abv blend of 50% Imperial Stout, 10% Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 12.5% Imperial Total Domination IPA, 12.5% Imperial Maiden the Shade IPA and 15% Critical Hit Barleywine. N10 Imperial Blended Ale is rolling out in 22-ounce bottles across Ninkasi’s distribution territory.

•Burlington, Vermont’s Citizen Cider is introducing a new year-round cider entry called Lake Hopper. The 6.2%-abv apple cider is dry-hopped with Cascade hops and available in 16-ounce cans and on draft. It will replace Full Nelson cider in the Citizen range. The company says it’s retiring Full Nelson because of a shortage of the Nelson Sauvin hop variety (a fruity-flavored hop developed in New Zealand) that’s part of its recipe. Citizen Ciders are currently distributed to nine states.
