•Total Wine & More is relocating its Newport News, Virginia location to a larger space this summer, reports the Daily Press. Scheduled to open by late July, Total Wine’s new Newport News store will span roughly 15,000 square feet and stock around 8,000 wines and 2,700 beers. The larger location will provide space for an expanded selection of Virginia and Mid-Atlantic wines and beers, and will also include classroom space for tastings and meeting space for local events. Total Wine’s national footprint includes more than 130 stores across 18 states.

•BevMo has appointed Albertsons veteran Tamara Pattison as senior vice president, chief marketing and information officer. Pattison, who replaces Michelle Farabaugh as CMO, was most recently Albertsons’ senior vice president of digital marketing and e-commerce. Concurrently, BevMo has named Mandy Fields, former Albertsons vice president, finance and analytics, as CFO, replacing Dan Carter. Both Pattison and Fields will report directly to BevMo CEO Dimitri Haloulos. BevMo has 159 locations across California, Arizona and Washington.
