•Hawaii-based Kona Brewing is releasing its new limited edition Hanalei Island IPA. The new 4.5%-abv offering features a blend of passion fruit, orange and guava juices along with Azacca, Millennium and Galaxy hops. Hanalei Island IPA will be available for a limited time throughout the Hawaiian islands ahead of a wider U.S. launch in 2017. Along with the Redhook, Widmer Brothers and Omission craft beer brands, Kona is part of the Craft Brew Alliance. Kona saw a 19% rise in depletions during the six months ended June 30.

•San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewery is introducing a new version of its popular Oyster Stout called Marooned on Hog Island. Created in partnership with the Hog Island Oyster Company, the 7.9%-abv stout is brewed with Magnum and Willamette hops; malts including Crystal, Carafa, Chocolate; and rolled oats, with the addition of 200 pounds of Sweetwater oyster shells. Marooned on Hog Island stout will be available in four-packs of cans throughout 21st Amendment’s 26-state distribution footprint.
