•Brown-Forman is extending Sonoma-Cutrer’s Winemaker’s Release series with a limited-production Owsley Single Block Pinot Noir. The fourth release in the collection is sourced from the Russian River Valley’s Owsley Estate Vineyard, which is influenced by Pacific Ocean fog, limited sun exposure and fluctuating temperatures, the company says. Fermentation involved oak tanks, stainless steel tanks and new French oak barrels with the heads removed, with aging for 16 months in the French barrels. Owsley Single Block Pinot Noir is available in select U.S. markets for about $50 a 750-ml.

•Heaven Hill Brands is debuting a new packaging design for its Christian Brothers brandy emphasizing the brand’s history. The new look includes a clear label with a grapevine crest icon and an updated gold-and-black foil neck wrap that includes “Since 1882.” The company is also launching a new marketing campaign under the banner “Endlessly Smooth” and a revamped website showcasing the new packaging design. The Christian Brothers Brandy portfolio includes flavors Apple, Peach and Honey, as well as VS, VSOP and XO expressions.
