•SPI Group has announced that Robert Cullins, CEO of the company’s Stoli Group subsidiary, will step down effective October 15. SPI called the move “a joint decision” and part of an ongoing restructuring aimed at accelerating international growth. SPI Group CEO Dmitry Efimov, who took over for the departed Val Mendeleev earlier this year, credited Cullins with expanding the business into new geographies and building “a strong global distribution network” during his tenure. Cullins joined Stoli Group in 2011 as global commercial director and was named CEO in February of last year.

•Sonoma-based 3 Badge Beverage Corp. has added Bozal mezcal to its spirits stable. Made with wild agave varieties from Oaxaca and Guerrero, Mexico, the Bozal range features four expressions: Espadin-Barril-Mexicano ($50), Cuixe ($80), Tobasiche ($80) and Ancestral ($100). The full lineup will be available across select U.S. markets, packaged in traditional-style ceramic bottles. Bozal joins the Uncle Val’s Botanical gin, Pasote Tequila, Kirk And Sweeney rum, Bib & Tucker Small Batch Bourbon and Masterson’s whiskey in 3 Badge’s spirits portfolio.
