•The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has accepted a $750,000 settlement from Massachusetts wholesaler Craft Beer Guild, LLC, a subsidiary of the Sheehan Family Companies, for trade practice violations laid out in the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA). Craft Beer Guild allegedly paid illegal “slotting fees” to retailers for favorable product placement and shelf space. The payment marks the largest compromise the TTB has recovered from a sole industry player for such violations.
