•A plane piloted by John Fleming, president and CEO of Ohio wine and beer distributor Superior Beverage Group, went missing over Lake Erie last Thursday night with six people aboard. According to local reports, search efforts for the missing plane are ongoing, but all passengers are presumed dead. Fleming, his wife, Sue, sons Jack and Andrew, and two close friends departed from Cleveland’s Burke Lakefront Airport late Thursday evening to return to Columbus. The plane disappeared from radar shortly after takeoff. Superior Beverage executive vice president Joseph McHenry released a statement noting that the company is working closely with local authorities and focusing efforts on supporting the families involved in the tragedy.
