•Amazon has partnered with retailer Mission Wine & Spirits to launch its Prime Now alcohol delivery service in the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale. Starting this week, Prime Now members can order beer, wine and spirits from Mission Wine & Spirits, opting for free two-hour delivery or one-hour delivery for $7.99. The delivery service is available Monday through Saturday10am to 8pm. Amazon added alcohol as an offshoot to its Prime Now same-day delivery service in 2015, and is also present in Seattle, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Richmond, Virginia.

•Walsh Whiskey’s Writers’ Tears and The Irishman brands are moving to the Disaronno International portfolio in the U.S. market, effective July 1. Palm Bay International previously handled both Irish whiskey ranges stateside. The Irishman includes Founder’s Reserve ($38 a 750-ml.), Single Malt ($46), 12-year-old Single Malt ($75) and Cask Strength ($150) offerings, while Writers’ Tears includes Copper Pot ($45) and Cask Strength ($150) expressions. The Walsh portfolio accounts for about 20,000 cases in the U.S. Disaronno parent Illva Saronno entered into a partnership with Walsh Whiskey, which has a 650,000-case distillery located in the east of Ireland, in 2013.

•Chopin Imports Ltd. has forged a new multi-year sales and distribution agreement with U.K.-based gin brand Portobello Road. A London-style gin featuring a juniper-forward flavor profile, Portobello Road retails at around $30. The brand joins Chopin Vodka, Clase Azul Tequila and Adirondack Whiskey in Chopin Imports’ portfolio.

•Lucas Bols USA is launching Italian liqueur Galliano L’Aperitivo nationwide. The amaro offering is a blend of 50 ingredients, 80% of which are sourced from the Alpine region of Northwest Italy. Bottled at 24% abv and priced at $16.99 a 375-ml., L’Apertivo will be available across the U.S. by the end of the month. Galliano also produces Galliano L’Autentico, Ristretto, Amaretto and Vanilla liqueurs, all distilled at Maraschi e Quirici distillery in Turin, Italy.
