Wine Spectator: Auction Napa Valley Raises $15.7 Million

June 7, 2017

Auction Napa Valley, held June 3 by Napa Valley Vintners, culminated a weekend of fund-raising events that garnered $15.7 million for Napa County non-profits focused on community health and childhood education. Since its inception in 1981, Auction Napa Valley has given over $170 million to charities. The event surpassed last year’s total of $14.3 million, although it didn’t reach 2014’s record of $18.7 million. With a live-auction total of almost $11.6 million, the event is second only to the Naples Winter Wine Festival among top American charity wine auctions this year. Wine Spectator has more on the weekend’s Auction Napa Valley festivities.
