•Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is entering the French wine space with the launch of its new Maison de Grand Esprit portfolio. Comprising three luxury-priced tiers, the brand will feature a “new world sourcing model,” offering wines from a variety of French vineyards across regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone and Provence. The full Maison de Grand Esprit range will be produced and bottled in France. The brand will initially debut throughout North Asia, with entry into other markets slated to follow. Maison de Grand Esprit joins TWE’s existing Australian, New Zealand, U.S. and Italian wine portfolios.

•California’s Vintage Wine Estates has unveiled Sabotage, a new Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The brainchild of vintner Sean Roney—son of Vintage Wine Estates president and CEO Pat Roney—Sabotage ($50 a 750-ml.) is sourced from the Diamond Mountain, St. Helena and Atlas Peak appellations. Comprised of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, the super-premium entry also includes small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec and is aged in French oak for 20 months. Sabotage is limited to 1,000 cases, available across California and other select U.S. markets.

•Clarence Dillon Wines has released two new appellation specific wines under its Clarendelle Bordeaux label. The additions include Clarendelle Saint-Emilion and Clarendelle Médoc, with the former featuring 77% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the latter a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. Concurrently, Clarence Dillon Wines has unveiled a new clear bottle and white label for its Clarendelle Blanc expression. Clarence Dillon’s new wines will be available nationally.

•The Winebow Group has promoted Arjun Dewan to the role of executive vice president, Wholesale East. In his new role, Dewan will be charged with overseeing the Northeast, New England, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets, reporting directly to David Townsend, president and CEO of The Winebow Group. Dewan most recently served as the company’s senior vice president and general manager of the Northeast.
