•Bloomington, Indiana-based Upland Brewing has debuted Free Time, a new Vienna-style lager. The 4.7%-abv offering is brewed with Nugget, Mt. Hood and Vanguard hops, along with Augustiner Lager yeast. Free Time will initially launch on draft at Upland locations in July, before launching in 15-packs of 12-ounce cans by early August. Upland, which produces more than 50 styles of beer, has a distribution reach spanning Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as parts of Ohio and Kentucky.

•Seattle’s Ghostfish Brewing has partnered with Washington-based nonprofit The Mountaineers to create Kick Step IPA, the brewery’s newest year-round offering. The 5.5%-abv ale is brewed with a base of malted millet, as well as a variety of Washington-grown hops. A portion of the beer’s proceeds will benefit The Mountaineers, a group dedicated to encouraging outdoor activity. The beer will be available in four-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draft across Ghostfish’s distribution area starting in July.
