•Denver, Colorado’s Great Divide Brewing Company has added Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale to its core collection. The 6.2%-abv beer is ruby-colored and balances the tart flavors imparted by the rhubarb with bright and sweet strawberries. In the past, the beer was known as Demeter and only released as an occasional specialty brew. Great Divide Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale is now available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft throughout the brewery’s distribution footprint.
•Brewery Ommegang has added Fruition Dry-Hopped Wheat Ale to its core lineup. The 5.3%-abv beer starts out as Ommegang Witte before the brewers ferment the beer with mango, kiwi and passion fruit juices. Following fermentation the beer is dry-hopped with Citra and Cascade hops and spiced with orange peel and coriander. Fruition is billed as slightly tart and lightly fruity with a hop backbone.
