•Riboli Family Wines has added Stella Rosa Black Lux to the brand’s Imperiale sparkling wine collection. Sourced from vineyards in Piedmont, Italy, Black Lux is a red sparkling wine, created as an extension of sweet red portfoliomate Stella Rosa Black. Black Lux is currently available at the Riboli Family’s San Antonio Winery tasting rooms in Los Angeles, Ontario and Paso Robles, with nationwide distribution coming soon. The Imperiale lineup also includes Organic Prosecco, Prosecco, Moscato Orange, Moscato Rose, Moscato and Brachetto. Stella Rosa grew 30% to 1.3 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Freixenet USA has expanded its partnership with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), aligning with RNDC in two new states, Indiana and Kentucky. Effective July 1, RNDC now handles Freixenet’s full portfolio in both states, bringing their distribution alliance—which already spans Colorado, Georgia and Virginia—to a total of five markets. The U.S. subsidiary of Spain’s Freixenet Group, Freixenet USA is known for its eponymous Cava brand, which grew 5.9% to 590,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank. The group’s Segura Viudas Cava label was also up in 2016, rising 7.6% to 270,000 cases.
