•Asheville, North Carolina’s Hi-Wire Brewing has announced four fall seasonal releases for 2017. The brewery will release Lion Tamer Rye IPA, a 7%-abv ale, in six-packs and on draft on July 28. In the first week of August, the company will debut Zirkusfest Oktoberfest, a traditional Märzen that’s 6% abv and will be available in six-packs and on draft. The brewery’s Apricot Sour Ale will go on sale on August 5. The 8.5%-abv sour is brewed with apricots and fermented in red wine barrels. Finally, Hi-Wire will release Southern Hemisphere IPA in four-packs of 16-ounce cans on August 14. The 7%-abv ale, a new offering from the brewery, is brewed with Australian and New Zealand hops. Each of the brews will be available throughout Hi-Wire’s distribution footprint, except for Apricot Sour, which will be sold at Hi-Wire’s South Slope Specialty Brewery & Taproom.

•Massachusetts-based Lord Hobo Brewing Company will expand into Florida in early August. The brewery has partnered with Cavalier Distributing to bring its line of beers, including Consolation Prize Imperial IPA and Hobo Life Session IPA, to retailers and on-premise locations throughout the state. The brewery will celebrate its newest distribution area with a series of launch parties throughout Florida, beginning on July 29. According to the company, the Lord Hobo brand will reach 30,000 barrels in 2017, after growing over 400% in 2016.
