•Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. has appointed Shaw Ross International as exclusive U.S. importer for its Mouton Cadet brand and Pays d’Oc varietals, effective immediately. Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s branded wines were previously handled in the market by Constellation Brands. Baron Philippe de Rothschild joins Château D’Esclans, Château de Bligny, Château Carbonnieux, Château Les Trois Croix and Sacha Lichine in Shaw Ross’s existing French import portfolio. Mouton Cadet currently sells about 135,000 cases in the U.S. annually, according to Impact Databank.

•Brown-Forman has released Jack Daniel’s Red Dog Saloon, a new special edition. Bottled at 86 proof, the new offering commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Red Dog Saloon, which was established by Jack Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee in 1892. Jack Daniel’s Red Dog Saloon edition is currently available in limited quantities throughout the U.S. market, retailing at $28.99 a 750-ml.

•Beam Suntory has extended Jim Beam with a new Vanilla flavor. Jim Beam Vanilla is a blend of Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey with Madagascar vanilla bean liqueur. The new entry is at 70 proof and retails at $16 a 750-ml. bottle. Joining Apple, Kentucky Fire, Honey and Red Stag in the Jim Beam flavor range, Jim Beam Vanilla is debuting nationwide across the on- and off-premise markets.
