•Cape Cod’s South Hollow Spirits has announced a new distribution partnership with United Liquors, effective October 1. Under the deal, United—a division of Martignetti Companies—will expand the retail presence of South Hollow’s Dry Line gin and Twenty Boat rum (including Amber, Spiced and White rums) across Massachusetts. South Hollow Spirits is owned and operated by the Roberts family, which also owns Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod.

•Newport, Oregon–based Rogue Ales & Spirits has debuted a whiskey barrel–aged beer, Dead ‘N’ Dead. The new entry is an update of Rogue’s flagship Dead Guy ale, aged for six months in Dead Guy whiskey barrels prior to bottling. A limited release, Dead ‘N’ Dead will be available on draft and in 22-ounce bottles at select retail locations while supplies last. Rogue is the 30th-largest craft brewery in the United States, according to the Brewers Association, with over 106,000 31-gallon barrels sold last year.

•Sonoma County’s Bear Republic Brewing Co. has opened a second brewpub in Rohnert Park, California. The new outpost features a 10-barrel brewing system, as well as a full bar, outdoor dining area, stage, kids play area and an adult games area. The Rohnert Park location joins Bear Republic’s existing Healdsburg brewpub. Bear Republic, which is known for its year-round Racer 5 IPA, Hop Shovel, Pace Car Racer, Double Aught, Grand-Am and El Oso labels, is the 40th-largest craft brewer in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.
