•Philadelphia’s Yards Brewing Co. will open a new 70,000-square-foot brewery and taproom in the Northern Liberties neighborhood next month. The new facility will have a 100-barrel brewhouse with the capacity to more than double Yards’ current output of 42,000 barrels, plus the potential to further expand capacity in the future. The new brewery will also have a canning line, marking Yards’ entry into the fast-growing format. The taproom will feature a diverse menu created by Chef James Burke, along with 20 taps, some of which will be beers available only onsite.

•New York-based Brown’s Brewing Company has launched the latest beer in its Revolution Series: Intonation Double IPA. An 8%-abv beer made with Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic hops, Intonation is brewed with extra malt to create a higher-gravity beer that still retains a smooth flavor profile. Intonation Double IPA is now available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans for around $15 in Brown’s three state distribution footprint.

•Kentucky’s Rabbit Hole Distilling has expanded into Indiana, Ohio and Nebraska, bringing its total distribution footprint to eight states. The company, founded in 2012, offers a range of small batch whiskies including PX Sherry cask-finished and London Dry Gin-finished expressions. In May, the company announced a partnership with Proprietors LLC to build a 55,000-square-foot multi-use venue to showcase Rabbit Hole’s spirits. The venue is set to open by the end of 2017. In 2018, the company plans to add a ninth state, California, to its distribution zone.

•Connecticut’s Two Roads Brewing Co. has released a pair of new limited-edition brews. Rolling out this month, Miles 2 Go Unfiltered Pale Lager (6.2% abv) is made with German malts and hops and brewed using a decoction mash process designed to create a more complex malt profile. Concurrently, Two Roads has partnered with Baltimore brewer Stillwater Artisanal to create Ground Loop Sour Saison (4.5% abv), a dry hopped offering featuring herbal, white wine and gooseberry notes. Miles 2 Go will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and six-packs of 12-ounce bottles, as well as on draft, while Ground Loop will be sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans and on draft. Additionally, Miles 2 Go will be offered as part of Two Roads’ Beer Bus variety 12-pack.

•Portland, Oregon’s Eastside Distilling has unveiled a new Bourbon under its Burnside brand. Finished in Garryana oak barrels from Oregon, the new entry is a 46%-abv blend of straight Bourbons and other whiskies of varying ages and mashbills. With the launch, the Burnside brand debuts new packaging that features individually screen-printed bottles and a new color scheme. Burnside Bourbon is rolling out now across Oregon. The brand is also set to add another Bourbon expression as well as a rye whiskey this fall.
