•Pernod Ricard’s Jacob’s Creek is backing its Double Barrel range with a new ad campaign. The initiative features a commercial titled “Two Barrels, One Soul,” which is narrated by actor Chris Hemsworth and puts the focus on Double Barrel’s production process. The move follows the Aussie brand’s March 2016 launch of its Double Barrel lineup (around $20 a 750-ml.), which offers a Barossa Valley Shiraz finished for three months in Scotch whisky barrels and a Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon finished in Irish whiskey casks. Jacob’s Creek was down 6% to 559,000 nine-liter cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
