•Portland, Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing has released Russell Street IPA as the first beer in its new Portland Pub Series. Initially launched in 2015 as a brewpub exclusive, Russell Street IPA is a West Coast–style brew comprised of Mosaic, Citra and Azacca hops. The 6.3%-abv beer will be available across the Pacific Northwest on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles. The Portland Pub Series showcases beers that originated in Widmer Brothers’ 10-barrel pilot brewery and were previously available only on limited release at the brewpub. Widmer is part of the Craft Brew Alliance portfolio.

•North Carolina–based Catawba Brewing Co. has debuted two new beers within its Specialty Series. The 10%-abv LD’s Belgian Tripel—which was fermented with abbey ale yeast and includes Belgian candi sugar—is available on draft and in four-packs of 12-ounce cans ($12). Meanwhile, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout is a decadent 5.4%-abv brew made with chocolate malts and midnight wheat, and later conditioned on locally sourced cacao nibs, North Carolina peanuts and Madagascar vanilla beans. The stout is available on draft, as well as in six-packs of 12-ounce cans ($12). Both new brews will be distributed across North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.
