•Sebastopol, California-based Spirit Works Distillery has aligned with The Henry Wine Group (part of The Winebow Group) for distribution throughout the Golden State, effective this month. Spirit Works, which was founded in 2012 as a “grain-to-glass” distilling operation, has a portfolio that includes a vodka, gin, sloe gin, barrel gin, navy strength gin, straight wheat and straight rye whiskey. The Henry Wine Group was acquired by The Winebow Group in 2016.
•St. Louis’s Schlafly Beer has launched Raspberry Chipotle Brown Ale, the first release within the brewery’s redesigned Cellar Selections range. Brewed with fresh raspberries and smoked, dried jalapeños, the new 5.9%-abv entry is packaged in a 750-ml. bottle that highlights the beer’s experimental development process through a descriptive label and neck tag.
